Ashley Kress<\/h1>\n

Ashley Kress has been dancing for 17 years and has competed in numerous dance competitions, concerts, and recitals.\u00a0 Ashley has experience teaching ages three to eighteen in styles including lyrical, acrobatics, ballet, hip-hop, and tap.\u00a0 She has trained with Revolution Dance Academy of Colorado Springs for ten years.\u00a0 During her time there, she had the opportunity to work with Kevin Leon, Nick Anthony, Judy Rice, Jessica Starr, Kobe Rozenfield, and Ashley Valerio.\u00a0 At the University of Wyoming, Ashley took classes from and performed pieces by the Limon Dance Company and participated in many intensives led by faculty and artists of the Colorado BAllet.\u00a0 She is currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration while dancing with the school’s club dance team, Dance Elite.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nicole Nelson<\/h1>\n

Nicole values a global mindset, hard work ethic, and a sense of exploration in her students.\u00a0Her pursuit of dance and sense of adventure have taken her beyond the Madison area and even the U.S. to cities such as Florence, Italy, and Buenos Aires, Argentina to participate in shows, workshops, and conventions.\u00a0 Her dance experience, however, began with musical theater, where she discovered her love of the arts, and dance in particular. She is excited to see her students on the stage, where her love of dance originally flourished.<\/p>\n

Emma is originally from Dodgeville, WI and now lives in Madison, working on her undergrad in business.\u00a0 Between studying, Emma continues her dance training, as well as coaching gymnastics and dance for various studios.\u00a0 Emma previously danced at Elevation Dance Academy and The Madison Professional Dance Center, competed in gymnastics, and taught both throughout her high school career.\u00a0 Emma is excited to continue to share her love for dance, expression, and growth with Elevation!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nicole Bauer is a passionate speech-language pathologist and devoted wife and mother to three.\u00a0 Nicole began dancing at the age of five and has continued to be involved in various forms of dance instruction and choreography since 2007.<\/div>\n

Rebecca Pusel<\/h1>\n

Born and raised in the River Valley area, she is a 2006 graduate of River Valley High School. Rebecca is a wife and mommy to two beautiful kids (Mason – Age 3 and Hadley – Age 1).\u00a0 Rebecca has a BA in Business Administration and works full-time for SSM Healthcare. At age 5, she began her dance career under the direction of Betty Hayes Baxter. Rebecca continued her education at Betty Hayes School of Dance for 17 years. During those years she explored several different forms of dance which included tap, jazz, lyrical\/contemporary, ballet, and pointe. Rebecca joined Elevation Dance Academy team in 2011 and after taking a year off from teaching, we are SO very excited to have Miss Rebecca back teaching.\u00a0 Welcome Back Miss Rebecca!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I began my dance training at the age of 4 at Dance Arts Center in Mt Pleasant, WI.\u00a0 There I studied tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, and many other styles.\u00a0 I am currently a Sophomore at the University of Wisconsin – Madison where I have continued my dance training as a member of the club dance team.\u00a0 I plan to graduate with a degree in Data Science.\u00a0 Apart from dancing, I love to bake and decorate cakes, read, and cook.\u00a0 I am so excited for this year at Elevation!<\/p>\n

Mikayla Oertel<\/h1>\n

Mikayla Oertel began her dance training at the age of three at Accent on Dance Studios in her hometown of Waukesha, WI. There she studied Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and many other styles. She is now a Junior at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a member of the UW Madison Club Dance team. This year will mark her third year on the team and second year as a coach! Apart from dance, Mikayla plans to graduate with a degree in Mathematics for Secondary Education with certificates in Educational and Disability Services in order to become a high school math teacher. Her favorite hobbies include reading, hiking, cooking, and jamming out to good music with friends and family. She is thrilled to be a new addition to the Elevation family!<\/p>\n
